Check your property before you request an estimate
Each tool takes about a minute and adds its result to your estimate request, so the estimate starts from your own figures.
- Home electrical capacity checkWhether the existing electrical service can take an EV charger, a heat pump or another new load.
- Backup runtime estimatorHow long a home battery or an electric vehicle can keep essential circuits running during an outage.
- Local Law 152 due dateThe gas piping inspection due date for a building under NYC Local Law 152.
- Rental turnover scope builderA scope list for preparing a rental unit for the next tenant, including any required lead paint work.
For homeowners
Each project is planned around what you want the work to do for your home.
A more comfortable, better-looking home
Kitchens, bathrooms, floors and lighting, together with quieter and more even heating and cooling, chosen for the way you use each room.
Work that supports property value
Buyers, appraisers and lenders look for permitted, inspected work with written records, and durable finishes and systems keep their condition for years.
Readiness for storms and outages
Backup power from batteries, an EV or a generator, flood-resistant materials and raised equipment, roof and drainage repairs, and sump pump and backflow protection.
New possibilities at home
Solar with a heat pump can make year-round heating and cooling affordable to run, and home EV charging, whole-home audio, a reliable network or a finished basement where the code allows add new uses for the house.
A tax strategy for your improvements
Credits, the cost basis of improvements and rental depreciation depend on how the work is scoped and documented, and we document it so your CPA can use it. We are a contractor, not a tax adviser.
Describe your project and the result you want from it. We will set out the scope and price in a written estimate.

Work planned around operating cost, vacancy and the revenue a property can produce.
EV charging as a revenue source
Chargers can bring customers to a site and earn fees from drivers, and we source the equipment directly from manufacturers.
Clinic and pharmacy spaces
Procedure, lab, imaging, infusion and therapy rooms let a practice offer more services in-house, built to the requirements of its licensing and equipment.
Faster rental turnovers
Trades scheduled back to back and durable, standard finishes shorten the days a unit stands empty between tenants.
Lower operating cost
Load management for demand charges, upgrades planned against Local Law 97 limits and scheduled maintenance help control what a building costs to run.

Frequently asked questions
Is the estimate free?
Yes. Many jobs can be priced from photos; larger projects are priced after a site visit.
Is hiring a contractor more expensive than doing the work yourself?
In many cases, no. Contractors buy materials from trade supply houses at wholesale prices, which are usually below big-box retail, and the price includes the permit and inspection. Avoiding rework is often the largest saving.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. When a job needs a permit, the licensed electrician, plumber, architect or engineer on the project files it, and we schedule the inspections.
Where do you work?
We work in all five NYC boroughs and on Long Island. For a property elsewhere in the region, send the address and scope, and we will confirm whether we can take it on with a locally licensed partner.
Which languages do you speak?
Our team works in English and Mandarin. For Cantonese, Fuzhounese, Hokkien, Korean, Spanish and other languages, we work with partners who speak the language or use translation support, so you can communicate in the language you prefer.
